Life requires hope, and Eldad Hagar, a member of Hope for Paws, remained optimistic when he decided to save a stray dog in Los Angeles. Lying on a heap of trash, the dog now known as Miley appeared exhausted and defeated. Hagar managed to coax Miley into a leash, and he took her to a veterinary care clinic, where she was diagnosed with mange, parasites, and other serious ailments. While everyone remained committed to caring for Miley, no one was sure she would survive the rescue, and it wasn’t until she met a friend that her condition really began to improve.
