Article of the Week: Yellow is the New Black
The Yellow Dog Project is a global movement to help give dogs the space they need. The idea is simple yet effective: see a dog with a yellow ribbon or yellow object attached to her leash, give her and her owner distance. This does not mean you must avoid these dogs, but be sure to ask owners if you can pet their dog or if your dog can play with theirs. This project is about safety and respect, which both humans and canines require. A big WOOF to The Yellow Dog Project for starting the movement. Spread the word about the project to help raise awareness, and be sure to note what The Yellow Dog Project is not.
