The Weekly Walk: Still Here

The Weekly WalkArticle of the Week: Balloons for Strays

Packs of strays wander the streets in Santiago. They have become so common that they are often overlooked and ignored, a fact that two Chileans have decided to amend. Using balloons, markers, and a video camera, Violeta Caro Pinda and Felipe Carrasco Guzmán set out to make people notice the homeless pooches. The result? The wonderful video below that people keep sharing. If you enjoy it, we recommend passing it along to others as well. Woof.

Friday Fun: Smart Cookie Treats

Want to have a hand in making the type of treats your dogs eat, but you don’t want to bake them yourself? The Colorado company, Smart Cookie Treats, has been thinking of you. The idea is simple: you pick the ingredients (protein, carbs, and fruit and veggie options), and they bake and ship the treats to you. Once you choose your desired ingredients, you are taken to a page that tells you about them, giving you the chance to learn more about the recipe you have concocted before placing your order. Sound nommers?
