Two Weekly Walks left before the end of the year. If you’re new here, this is where we collect our favorite Twitter and Facebook posts from the week. A double take of paws and tails. If you’re a usual here, then thank you.
Article of the Week: Putting the Pooch First
Joe Groomes and his bulldog, Buster, surprised an animal rescue group in South Carolina. A pair from Carmen’s Rescue found the two homeless on a curb, and they checked to see if the dog was cared for. They realized Buster was healthier than some of their dogs. Joe has been caring for Buster since the dog was a pup. He’s five now, and Joe has always put him first, spending money and time to keep Buster well fed and up to date with his shots. As Joe says, “He’s innocent. He can’t do it for himself.” Click the photo to read a full article and watch an interview with Joe, Buster, and the rescue team.
Obie Weight-loss Update
Straight from their Tuesday Facebook post: “Obie eagerly got out of bed and ran to the kitchen for weigh-in and breakfast. 54lbs 2oz. About 25kgs. He has a waist now. Yippee!!! He was 77lbs in Aug. when I got him.” Woof, Obie!
